1. Catalogue Accuracy
  • Motokey Pty Ltd strives to ensure the accuracy of our catalogue. However, there might be errors in price listings, item images, or stock availability. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions, and to change or update information at any time without prior notice.
  1. Ownership of Goods
  • All items remain the property of Motokey Pty Ltd.until paid for in full.
  1. Pricing
  • Prices are subject to change without prior notice due to fluctuations in the SA Rand / US Dollar exchange rate.
  1. Refunds and Claims
  • No refunds will be given on parts correctly supplied.
  • No claims will be entertained after 7 days of the invoice date.
  1. Returns

    Motokey accepts returns. Buyers must obtain a reference number before returning any goods.

    Shipping costs on returns are for the buyer's account. If goods fall under the warranty period, Motokey will pay for the delivery of the goods back to the customer.

    Electric and Electronic goods go through rigorous testing prior to the consumer receiving them. Most manufacturers do not accept returns on electric or electronic items.

    The following items may not be returned due to their nature of being only programmed once:
    TRANSPONDERS - REMOTES AND KEYS WITH TRANSPONDERS - STEERING LOCK EMULATORS - PROGRAMMING MACHINES

    If the incorrect part has been dispatched from the part purchased by the buyer, Motokey will pay for the shipping back to us.

    If the buyer has purchased the incorrect part and is returning the part, shipping costs are for the buyer's account. Incorrectly purchased goods must be unused and in the original packaging so that Motokey may be able to resell the goods. If the goods show any sign of use, Grease, or Debri and cannot be reasonably resold, the buyer will not receive a credit and will be asked to pick up goods from Motokey or pay shipping costs for the goods to be returned. 

    Goods returned to us must be securely packaged with bubble wrap or any other reasonable packing material. Goods returned damaged will not be credited and the buyer will be required to collect these goods at their own cost.

    Goods must be returned within 7 Days. We have the right to refuse the return of goods after 7 Days.

    If you have purchased goods and it was correctly supplied, only to find it cheaper somewhere else; these types of returns are not permitted. This is termed "change of heart purchases". The CPA does not cater to change of heart returns. Please motivate your return to a manager at Motokey. It will be up to his or her discretion on whether they will accept the return for a credit.

    Whilst the goods are under warranty, Acts of GOD are NOT covered. Please do not return these types of warranty claims as you will incur unnecessary costs.

    1. Courier Damages
    • We do not take responsibility for damages made due to handling by the courier company.
    1. Delivery Time
    • Orders for courier delivery must be in by 1pm on normal business days Monday to Friday. Any orders received after 1pm shall be processed the following business day. The courier does not collect or deliver over weekends and public holidays. The anticipated delivery time is given in good faith, and we will endeavor to adhere to it. However, we are unable to accept liability or responsibility for unforeseeable delays due to factors beyond our control, such as delays on the part of factories, shippers, customs, railways, and road transportation, etc.
