VVDI MLB Tool adds MQB48 NEC35XX immo data collection function. XHORSE XDMQBAGL MQB Adapter, with MLB equipment, does not need to disassemble the instrument but only the key, and only needs to solder two wires. With low risk, simple operation, it can add keys for most MQB48 keys.

No need to disassemble the instrument.
Easier to read key data and add keys.
No points/tokens needed for MQB48. (KYDZ does need tokens for MQB48, $15 each)
Function:
Similar to MLB, open the key, read data and program additional key.

Strongly recommend using a PC. Key Tool Plus works as well. PC calculation takes 4 minutes while key tool plus takes more than 10 minutes.
For MQB48 chip only. Cannot collect immo data MQB49/5C from key.
Key tool plus menu path is: IMMO Programming—VW—Select by type—MQB instrument immo system—NEC35xx (Continental/VDO)—Collect Key Data.
VVDI MLB Tool MQB48 Wiring Diagram
Need to remove one capacitor (value 0.1uF. near the IC position) of original key as diagram shown.
Soldering socket cables to original key according to different color as diagram shown.
